A: 17 years! I was hired by TeleMatrix (now part of Cetis) in June 1999.
Q: What was your job function in the early years with the company?
A: In 1999, I began working in the production department, programming the guest service keys on telephones. Within a year, I was transferred to the repair customer service department. From there, I moved on to customer service.
Q: What is your role today?
A: Assistant Director of Operations.
Q: What do you like about Cetis? What’s kept you here all these 17 years?
A: Mainly, it's the people, and the camaraderie. It is, and always has been, a close knit organization. Because you work closely with so many people in the company you build special relationships with them. I mean, face it, I'm at work more than I'm at home. Enjoying my co-workers is crucial. In addition, Cetis has always taken care of me and my family in that they offer many perks such as paid holidays, benefits, 401K, etc. They care about their employees. In a competitive and challenging global market, it's easy for company leaders to sometimes forget to recognize employees. With Cetis, that has never been a worry.
Q: What do you do when you’re not working?
A: I love to play volleyball, ride my ATV, play in my garden and watch movies. On top of that, I have a 15 year old daughter who is very involved in volleyball and band. She keeps me more than busy.
